Statistician General Message
Today, I am glad that we witnessed another milestone in the history of our great organisation, the KDBS. I will once again congratulate my colleagues, the staff of KDBS for keeping the tempo of hard work and dedication that put us at the fore front among the state statistical agencies in the country.
Our immense gratitude goes to the State Government for the show of support that provided an enabling environment for the State Statistical System to work effectively, utilized existing capabilities, and efficiently provide data through administrative statistics, conduct of surveys and other statistical activities that distingushed us from other statistical agencies at the
sub-national. Special gratitude goes to our collaborators at the MDAs and development partners. Your suport has made us where we are today.
Kaduna State Bureau of Statistics is the custodian of all activities that relates to official statistics in Kaduna State ranging from data collation, collection, analysis, interpretation, research, and coordination of statistical activities, which aids policy formulation, development planning and evaluation of accomplishment. The Bureau is mandated to coordinate the State
Consultative Committee on Statistics (SCCS). The SCCS is one of the mechanisms that propel the state statistical system.
